UMKC Implements Electronic Delivery of Official Transcripts

April 21st, 2014 · No Comments · News, Perks

Pathway[The following was provided by the Office of Registration and Records.]

Students can now get their official University of Missouri-Kansas City transcript e-delivered to schools, employers, etc. in about 24 hours instead of waiting for the transcript to be delivered by the postal service. The cost is the same, $10 per transcript.

Students can review all their transcript delivery options at the Registration and Records Office.

Many colleges and universities have moved to acceptance of this delivery method from a secure connection. UMKC and the UM system have partnered with the National Student Clearinghouse to ensure that the transcript delivery is secure. Be sure to check the requirements of the institution or company receiving the transcript whether they consider electronic transcripts as “official.” Students can request their transcript at any time if needed through Pathway.  Students can mark “hold for grades” or “hold for degree” and their transcript will be sent out after their semester grades or degree have been posted.
