Faculty and Staff are invited to the UMKC Men’s basketball game on Tuesday January 22, 2013 as they take on Houston Baptist in Swinney Recreation Center. Faculty and staff will have the option to take advantage of the special deal for this game ONLY – ticket plus Kangaroo Club pre-game dinner buffet for ONLY $15.
The Kangaroo Club dinner is for our athletic donors and is open 90 minutes prior to every home men’s basketball game. It is held in Pierson Auditorium in the Student Success Center and consists of a full dinner buffet including dessert, beverages as well as popcorn that you can take into the game. You will hear from the athletic director and a UMKC men’s basketball coach as well as have the opportunity to ask questions about the upcoming game or season. The cheer team will pump you up by leading a cheer and then heading into the game!
Human Resources and the Athletics Department will award the department with the highest participation with the following:
- Free UMKC ROOS Basketball T-Shirt for each person
- UMKC Autographed men’s basketball for your department
