Hypnotist Tom DeLuca is coming this Wednesday, March 8th at 7 p.m. in the Student Union Theater. Tom has been voted the National College Entertainer of the Year 4 times and has been entertaining students with his comedy hypnosis show nationwide and he will be putting on a FREE show for UMKC students on March 8th at 7 p.m. See a video of his show at

2017-2018 UPB Executive Board Positions Available

Are you interested in being a part of the UPB Executive Board and helping plan events for your fellow students at UMKC? Applications are available NOW and are due to the Office of Student Involvement (Student Union 320) no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 24th.

No prior experience is required to be considered for these positions. You must have a passion for learning and for making UMKC a welcoming and fun place for all students.

Inspiration Through Love-Jennifer Higdon

Join us in welcoming Pulitzer Prize and Grammy Award-winning composer Jennifer Higdon for our LGBTQIA Lecture:
“Inspiration Through Love”
Dr. Higdon discusses the history of gays, lesbians, and women in classical music, and how things have changed over time, as well as how identity has affected and inspired the making of art.
