Like many other dance companies, the Kansas City Ballet puts on an annual production of “The Nutcracker.” But this year, the Kansas City Ballet has a new leader at the artistic helm.

Devon Carney, artistic director of the Kansas City Ballet, talked about this holiday classic and how he keeps it fresh during a recent segment of KCUR-FM’s Central Standard.
