On Sunday, Feb. 28 at 7:30 p.m., UMKC MFA students will read their poetry and prose at the Kick Comedy Theater (4010 Pennsylvania Ave.) in Westport. The writers will be accompanied by professional improv actors, who will interpret their stories and poems.
Presented by Working Words, the event will feature UMKC students Anders Carlson, Mariah Marsden, Andrew Reeves, Ian Swalwell, Jermaine Thompson, and Sabrina Veroczi.
