Last Sunday, Feb. 28, UMKC MFA students Sabrina Veroczi, Jermaine Thompson, Ian Swalwell, Anders Carlson, Andrew Reeves, and Mariah Marsden read their fiction and poetry at the Kick Comedy Theater in Westport. Their work was then interpreted by improv comedians, who created memorable and hilarious scenes about sloth fights, bad first dates, and stoner Buddhas.
