On Friday, May 13 at the Writers Place (3607 Pennsylvania), UMKC English professor Michelle Boisseau is reading with UMKC alum Chun Ye at 8 p.m. Boisseau is celebrating the release of her fifth book, Among the Gorgons, which won the Tampa Review Prize.
The Riverfront Series reading will be preceded by the UMKC MFA Class of 2016 reading featuring poets Randall Weiss and Andrew Reeves.
