Michelle Paquette, Ph.D.
Research Associate Professor
Caruso-Paquette Group Lead
University of Missouri - Kansas City
Department of Physics and Astronomy
Prof. Paquette joined the faculty of the UMKC Department of Physics and Astronomy in 2012. Her primary research area is the basic and applied investigation of thin-film boron carbide.
Collaborations with the CPG
Prof. Paquette collaborates with the CPG through an NSF sponsored Designing Materials to Revolutionize and Engineer our Future (DMREF) project (DMR-1539918): Predictive Modeling of Polymer-Derived Ceramics: Discovering Methods for the Design and Fabrication of Complex Disordered Solids. Prof. Paquette’s group leads the thin-film fabrication effort.
