Biography
Prof. Paquette joined the faculty of the UMKC Department of Physics and Astronomy in 2012. Her primary research area is the basic and applied investigation of thin-film boron carbide.

Collaborations with the CPG
Prof. Paquette collaborates with the CPG through an NSF sponsored Designing Materials to Revolutionize and Engineer our Future (DMREF) project (DMR-1539918): Predictive Modeling of Polymer-Derived Ceramics: Discovering Methods for the Design and Fabrication of Complex Disordered Solids. Prof. Paquette’s group leads the thin-film fabrication effort.
