Application and Registration
In order to register as a conducting participant, conductors must first complete the KCCS Application. Auditors and Observers will be able to registration without an application.
Applications will be accepted beginning Monday, December 19 and will close on Wednesday, February 1. Participants will be notified of their application status and associated fees via email by Monday, February 6. Admitted applicants’ positions will be held until payments are secured in full on Monday, February 20. Waitlisted applicants will be notified of potential changes in their status on Tuesday, February 21.

Application Due Date: Applications for Conducting Participants are due by Feb 1, 2023.
Registration Due Dates: Registration for Conducting Participants is due by Feb 22, 2023. Registration for Auditors and Observers is due by May 1, 2023.

Refund Policy:
We do not offer refunds for our summer programs. All fees and deposits are non-refundable.
If the Kansas City Conducting Symposium is canceled by UMKC, a full refund will be issued.
