UMKC Kicks Off New Physician Assistant Program

A new program in the Kansas City area will help boost medical services, especially in rural areas.

The University of Missouri at Kansas City’s School of Medicine is now offering a program to train future physicians assistants. The Missouri General Assembly passed a bill last year that lessens the amount of time that assistants must receive supervision from a physician. Read more here.
