The University of Missouri-Kansas City’s announcement of a new downtown site for its Conservatory of Music and Dance struck a pleasant chord for Jon Copaken.

On May 12, UMKC officially announced that it had received an anonymous donation of a full city block, immediately south of the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, for its $90 million conservatory project. Read more.
