The Science Behind Exercise and Goal Setting

Listen to the story on KCUR’s website.

We’re just a few weeks into a new year, but it’s already tempting to let those fitness and nutrition resolutions slide.

On a recent segment of KCUR-FM’s Central Standard, host Brian Ellison talked with an exercise scientist and a behavior modification expert about how we can change unhealthy habits – and why we usually don’t.

Guests:

  • Dr. Nicole Moodie is an assistant professor of Exercise and Sports Science at Rockhurst University
  • Dr. Ann Davis is a psychologist and professor of Pediatrics at KU Medical Center and an adjunct associate professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

KCUR-FM is a service of the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
