Hello everyone! My name is Julia, and I am a junior studying Physics with a double-minor in Mathematics and Statistics and Classical and Ancient Studies.
This will be my first semester working at the UMKC Women’s Center. I am excited to be a part of an organization focused on the success and equity of university women and all women everywhere. I am looking forward to working with inspiring leaders to spread awareness of many gender-based issues and to help women achieve their academic and personal goals.
One of my biggest passions is education and learning in all forms. I look forward to participating in programs that emphasize this for underrepresented women from all backgrounds, fields, and walks of life.
Aside from education, I enjoy just being outside in nature, yoga, fashion, baking, and all things Game of Thrones. I love meeting new people and would love to meet you, too! Hope you all are having a great semester!
