Hi, my name is Edith Moreno; I am freshman at UMKC. I recently graduated from Raytown High School, and I plan to major in Theatre and minor in Spanish- I enjoy working backstage on theater productions, but my main goal is to be a make-up and hair artist. I hope to one day achieve my dreams in New York either on Broadway or in the film industry (I like to think of myself as the next Edith Head.) Apart from that I am very excited to join the Women’s Center this year, and really look forward to helping further the center’s goals and help women in any way I can. I am also looking forward to meeting new people and working with the staff as well as getting involved with this year’s school events- this looks to be a very promising year.
