Former FBI Director James Comey had an interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos Sunday night,  about his recent book, “A Higher Loyalty”. He described President Trump as morally unfit, and compared his actions to a mob boss. He then said it was possible Russian leaders were blackmailing Trump with incriminating material.

President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un announced they will meet in the coming weeks. The United States has a lot to gain from a meeting, including denuclearizing the region, freeing American hostages and stabilizing the area. There is one roadblock to the meeting: the location.

Former first lady Barbara Bush died on Tuesday surrounded by family and loved ones. The wife of one president and the mother of another, she leaves behind a legacy of public service and shining moral values.

Sean Hannity, Fox News host, was named as one of Michael Cohen’s clients on Monday.  Cohen, Trump’s longtime personal lawyer, is currently under federal investigation. Hannity has discussed the Cohen investigation on his news show, and some now believe this is a conflict of interest.

Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens is under a felony investigation for using his charity donor list to fundraise for his campaign. Attorney General Josh Hawley gave the information to thr St. Louis special prosecutors office and called on Greitens to resign. Greitens responded by filing a restraining order against fellow Republican Hawley to stop him from continuing the investigation.

Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach disobeyed a court order that involved the state’s voting laws. Kobach violated the law by failing to provide voters with consistent information and did not inform thousands of Kansans in 2016 they were eligible to vote. Kobach is seen as a front runner to the Kansas Governor race this year.

Three right- wing extremists in Wichita, Kansas were found guilty of a terror plot against Muslim refugees. In 2016, they planned to bomb an apartment complex in Garden City that’s home to many Somali Muslim immigrants, and the mosque where they worship.
