Police investigated a case of illegal dumping at 47th and Troost.

A cyclist injured his leg and was transported to the hospital.

August 8
2:01am
Police responded to an RA reporting that alcohol had been found in a room at Oak Place Apartments.

August 13
12:10am
A noise disturbance was reported at a party on the 5400 block of Holmes.

August 14
1:30am
A laptop was stolen from a residence on the 5400 block of Holmes when roommate has guests over.

August 15
3:00pm
A laptop was left unattended and then stolen from the Miller Nichols Library.
