The 2019 UMKC Summer Development Series is underway. For 2019, we have a full series filled with topics on wellness, professional development, personal enrichment and more. Enrollment for all programs is on myLearn.
Featured presenters include Chris Wolff with theVolker Campus History Walk; Tamica Lige will deliver her Staff Council Conference presentation, Who are you? Exploring social identity through a social justice lens; and Dr. Martia Barkis, our Staff Ombudsperson, will provide Fostering an Engaging, Productive Style Leadership and Employee Involvement at UMKC.
Some of the featured courses include First Impact, a program designed to educate parents who have new, teen drivers, Talk It Up! and Green Dot.

All of the Summer Development Series courses are eligible for Healthy for Life wellness points. Eligible employees may earn 25 points for participation per course (maximum 100 points). The deadline to complete Cycle 2 of the Wellness Incentive is Sept. 30, 2019, so don’t miss out on points!
