The Office of Research and Economic Development is holding a grants-proposal development workshop from 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 29 at Student Union, room 401. The event is free, and a light snack is included.
Deep Medhi, Ph.D., UMKC Curators’ Distinguished Professor and program director of the computer and network systems division at the U.S. National Science Foundation, is presenting the workshop to help navigate NSF-funding programs and offer first-hand tips on developing competitive proposals. After attending, you will be able to:
- Develop a persuasive grant proposal that is responsive to NSF’s priorities
- Learn ways to write for a competitive proposal
- Understand NSF’s review process
