In an effort to further develop, promote and provide learning opportunities to support employees and organizational growth, UMKC Human Resources has updated the Training and Development program.
The Supervisory Development Series, intended for new and existing supervisors has been revamped and will now be offered twice a year (spring and fall sessions) with electives held in the summer.
In addition to this change, the series now features blended learning, courtesy of MyLearn. Supervisors will now be able to enrich their development even further with eleven online courses alongside the eight instructor-led courses.
Finally, as new supervisors are on-boarded into the university, their managers will be notified to encourage them to sign up for the supervisory development series.
