A new series of Faculty Diversity Dialogue events has been scheduled for this semester. Sessions, except for the Dec. 5 event, are for faculty only; the Dec. 5 session is open to faculty, staff and students.
Faculty Diversity Dialogues is a collaborative initiative of the UMKC Division of Diversity and Inclusion, the UMKC Provost’s Office and the UMKC Faculty Senate. FDD provides a space to openly discuss topics relating to diversity and inclusion. Diversity Dialogue sessions are specifically designed for faculty, and are faculty-run and faculty-oriented. The co-chairs are Mikah Thompson (School of Law) and Steve Dilks (Department of English). The FDD Advisory Board is chaired by Jennifer Santee (School of Pharmacy).
All FDD events are from noon to 1:30 p.m. Registration is available at https://net2.umkc.edu/intapps/diversity/registration/.
