Mark your calendars and plan to attend the next event in our ongoing series, “Agreeing to Disagree: Embracing Free Speech and Encouraging Civil Discourse.” A panel discussion entitled “Engaging our First Amendment Rights Through Civil Discourse” is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 5 in the Student Union Theatre.
The panel will be moderated by Prof. Steve Kraske, host of KCUR-FM’s “Up to Date.” Panelists include State Rep. Barbara Washington, State Rep. Dan Stacy and Justice Gatson of the American Civil Liberties Union.
