In 2025, the Kansas College launched Kansas City’s Community Strategic Plan, a shared roadmap designed to increase postsecondary attainment and improve college and career outcomes. The plan centers on three interconnected priorities: expanding participation in career-connected learning, increasing immediate postsecondary enrollment, and improving postsecondary completion rates.

To support this work, UERC is developing a Community Strategic Plan Tracker to monitor progress toward KCCAN’s goal of increasing postsecondary attainment among students in low-income school districts by 10 percentage points by 2030. The tracker will also capture workgroup activities and provide actionable insights to guide continuous improvement and implementation across the network
