Learning Club Evaluation Capacity-Building

This project includes co-designing a logic model and identifying evaluation priorities and strategies in partnership with an organization that supports academic and personal development for children and families in Kansas City, Kansas.

Learning Club is an in-school, after-school, and summer program in Kansas City, Kansas that offers tutoring and mentoring to high-risk children in areas of concentrated poverty, providing one-on-one support and life skills development to help unlock their potential.

UERC is partnering with Learning Club to examine the theory of action that drives their current programs. This important step in the evaluation design process involves a series of focus groups, interviews, and planning sessions with key staff and stakeholders. The result of this process is the co-design of a logic model to guide evaluation planning and implementation as the organization grows to serve more students.
