Startland Studio offers teacher workshops and labs for Kansas City area schools to bring human-centered design thinking to the classroom. Through interactive problem-solving experiences, think tanks, and incubators, the studio fosters an entrepreneurial mindset — building creative confidence, empathy, and resilience to help participants turn ideas into action and navigate an ever-evolving world.

UERC and Startland Studio are collaborating to design, refine, and implement an evaluation of Startland Studio’s Entrepreneurial Teacher Accelerator (ETA), which is designed to equip and empower educators as they create authentic learning experiences for students by providing entrepreneurial experiences in the classroom. The ETA evaluation examines the impact of this Startland Studio workshop on teachers’ skills, mindsets, and practices.
