How do charter schools impact students’ behavioral and long-term outcomes? For this project, researchers at the UERC partnered with ShowMeKCSchools to assess the feasibility of studying the impact of Kansas City charter schools on factors such as students’ attendance, discipline, college enrollment, and college major choice. The project’s goal is to understand how and if lottery data can be used to identify causal effects of Kansas City’s charter schools.
