A Message from The Collaborative to Advance Health Services

As we approach the end of the year, significant changes have occurred within the Collaborative to Advance Health Services at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Nursing and Health Studies.

After careful consideration, we have decided to postpone the March 2025 Syndemic Summit until further notice.

We understand the importance of this event and the impact this decision may have. Rest assured, we will provide updates and communicate a new date if and when it is set.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

2023 Syndemic Solutions Summit

The 2023 inaugural Syndemic Solutions Summit, designed by UMKC’s Collaborative to Advance Health Services, will explore the federal government’s approach to the intersecting epidemics of HIV, viral hepatitis, substance use disorders, sexually transmitted infections, and more. The summit will bring together leaders from government, community and research to amplify the importance of inclusive, equitable and systems-level approaches to ending these epidemics.
