National WWI Museum and Memorial-Lecture

Greetings,

To commemorate the centennial of the Red Summer, the National WWI Museum and Memorial is hosting a lecture from Dr. Saje Mathieu and Cameron McWhirter, two leading voices on the subject. We would like to invite you and your students to join.

Dr. Saje Mathieu is the author of The Glory of Their Deeds: A Global History of Black Soldiers and the Great War Era, and Cameron McWhirter is a Wall Street Journal reporter and author of Red Summer: The Summer of 1919 and the Awakening of Black America.

Please join us on July 30th at 6:30 p.m. in the J.C. Nichols Auditorium at the National WWI Museum and Memorial. Tickets are free with RSVP.

We hope to see you there.

Best,
Kate Bello
