ICPSR Summer Program Scholarships

For graduate students interested in acquiring quantitative skills

The Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) is offering funds to support summer training in quantitative methods and data analysis for graduate students in sociology.

The Clifford C. Clogg Scholarship provides a tuition waiver to the four-week sessions of the 2017 ICPSR Summer Program in Quantitative Methods of Social Research. From mid-June through mid-August 2017, the ICPSR Summer Program will offer two consecutive four-week sessions on the University of Michigan campus in Ann Arbor. The four-week sessions are an immersive learning experience in which participants receive hands-on training in a variety of research methods while building a community of friends, collaborators, and future colleagues. Four-week courses include introductory and advanced regression analysis, longitudinal analysis, categorical data analysis, network analysis, causal inference, SEM, MLE, and more.

The scholarship application deadline is Friday, March 31, 2017. For more information, including eligibility criteria and application materials, visit the ICPSR Summer Program’s Financial Support page or contact the Summer Program at sumprog@icpsr.umich.edu.
