Job Opportunities for Seniors!

My name is Callie Bruley. I’m a Campaign Organizing Director with Impact, a nonprofit that runs field campaigns for our environment, our democracy and our future.

Currently I work with our Impact organizers on US PIRG’s Stop the Overuse of Antibiotics on Factory Farms Campaign, targeting large fast food restaurant chains to stop selling meat raised on routine antibiotics. In the fall I worked with organizers on Environment America’s Global Warming Solutions campaign, where we’re working to defend the Clean Power Plan, the nation’s first ever carbon pollution standards on power plants, against attacks in Congress.

Impact is hiring full-time campaign organizers to start immediately and next August. We have positions in 25 states across the country, including Missouri! We are hoping to find students at University of Missouri Kansas City who are interested in making a difference working on issues that matter in one of the most politically important states in the country.

We have an application deadline coming up on March 13th, and I’m hoping to get the word out about these opportunities to as many students as possible. There are two ways you can help:

1. Can you help us publicize the Campaign Organizer positions by forwarding the below announcement to your class or anyone who might be interested?
2. Do you have any students you would like to nominate or recommend we reach out to about this opportunity?

Thanks, I look forward to hearing from you!
