WHAT
Each year Alpha Kappa Delta sponsors an undergraduate and graduate student paper competition.

APPLICANTS
Alpha Kappa Delta welcomes submissions from current undergraduate and graduate students who are members of the Society, whether or not they are involved in AKD chapter activities.

PRIZE
Available are various cash prizes and $1,000.00 in travel expenses to the 2016 Annual Meeting of the American Sociological Association for first, second, and third place winners. Authors of all prize-winning papers will receive one-year extensions of their subscriptions to Sociological Inquiry.

DEADLINE
The deadline for the paper contest is March 1, 2016 via email. All papers should be sent to AKD@lemoyne.edu with “Undergraduate Student Paper Submission” or “Graduate Student Paper Submission” in the subject line.

NOTE: Please read the paper submission requirements posted on our website first before sending any papers.
