The first day of classes for the Fall 2015 semester is Monday, August 24. The Sociology Department has two advisors, Dr. Jennifer Huberman and Kevin Douglas, who will hold advising hours as follows for FS2015:
Dr. Huberman: M/W/F – 2:00-3:30
Kevin Douglas: M/W – 9:00-12:00; T/Th – 2:30-4:30
Advising appointments are scheduled in 15-minute increments but if you need more time, please reserve two time slots. Appointments can be scheduled by stopping by Haag 208 to sign up or by calling 816-235-1116. Dr. Huberman and Kevin advise for Sociology majors/minors and Anthropology minors.
If you need a degree audit, please email Dr. Marc Garcelon at garcelonm@umkc.edu to schedule an appointment with him. It is recommended that a degree audit be completed at least one semester prior to your expected graduation.
