Attendee Testimonials: November 2017

“All of it was extremely useful, but what I especially took away was the focus on the importance of strong training
for the SI leaders. Hands-on activities and discussion really cemented my understanding.”

“I did not fully understand SI until coming to this training. I think it really takes seeing it up close and
being in a room with professionals to gain a deeper understanding.”

“I think even if you are familiar with SI this gives you another perspective and encourages creative
thinking.”

“I loved that the agenda and the format mirrored what SI is supposed to be. It very much emphasized what we
should be using in an ideal SI session. It was a great model to watch.”

“I’ve been to similar (student support related) trainings and was very impressed with this one! I left with several
great ideas in additional to a much better understanding of SI in general.”

“I thought this workshop was very well structured. The facilitators were excellent–knowledgeable, engaging, and
well prepared.”
