2027 Speakers
Now Accepting Applications for Student Keynote Speakers!
The International Center for Supplemental Instruction (SI) is now accepting applications for student keynote speakers for the 2nd Global SI Leader Summit conference, which will be held virtually on March 19-20, 2027.
The theme of the conference is “Collaborative Learning in the Digital Age,” so we encourage any interested applicants to consider how this theme has impacted their work as an SI leader along with any experiences they have related to this topic that they would like to share. Applicants should have a unique, engaging story that provides practical strategies for other SI Leaders and peer educators.
Applicants should create a three to five minute video that introduces them and their SI story. They should also consider what they would like SI leaders to learn from their story and how they plan to engage audience members in their keynote speech.

Tips for Student Keynote Applicants
- Tell us about your SI journey, what makes your experience unique, and how it relates to the summit theme. Personal stories are often the most memorable.
- Make sure your application includes everything requested and follows the format requirements.
- Think about ways to make your application stand out. Creativity can be simple and doesn’t require special equipment or editing skills.
- Consider what audience members (SI Leaders, SI professionals, and other peer educators) could learn from your experience. Strong keynotes share lessons that others can apply to their own leadership journey.
- Speak clearly, look at the camera, and let your personality show. Confidence and authenticity are more important than having a perfect video.
