What is ‘sustainability’ and ‘green building’ and why is everyone talking about it? What are the USGBC and GBCI and how do these organizations help or hinder obtaining LEED certification or accreditation? Is that ‘Sustainability, is that ‘Green Building’? What is needed for a Project Manager to obtain ‘this’, whatever ‘this’ is?

A BSEE graduate of the University of Missouri at Kansas City, Jay began his career in 1984; making technology work for building owners by helping them understand the concepts of Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing Engineering systems. He has been on the design and construction teams of several noteworthy projects such as: New York Life Building Historic Renovation, Anita B. Gorman Discovery Center, Sprint Headquarters Campus, IRS Service Center and Historic Post Office Renovation, and currently the NNSA-Honeywell Campus.
