Components of Effective Literacy
This Series comprises seven modules anchored in the science of reading. Each module addresses the different elements skilled readers possess as well as the instructional elements necessary to produce success in reading. Research-based practices are modeled and examined with participants to provide the opportunity for quality decision-making with regard to instruction and the use of the curriculum. Sessions will dive into ‘what works’ and provide hands-on application for preventing reading difficulties and intervening effectively to close the gap for struggling students.
Series of 3 sessions: December 14, January 30, March 20. Must commit to all 3 sessions.
