Renee joined RPDC in 2021 as an SW-PBS consultant with 30 years of
experience in public elementary education. She has served as a reading specialist, literacy coach and classroom teacher. As a member of the Excelsior Springs
School District Professional Development Committee, she coordinated and presented district in-service sessions. She has presented at the Missouri SW-PBS Summer Institute. She has experience as a curriculum leader — writing curriculum and assessments, developing and supporting tiered intervention supports for academic and behavior systems and supporting the implementation of effective instructional strategies and data-driven decision-making in the classroom. She has participated in EdCamp KC, and served as a mentor to undergraduate students as a cooperating teacher. She holds a masters’ degree from Webster University and an educational specialist degree in administration from William Woods University.
