Dr. Elizabeth (Beth) Savidge joined the RPDC in the fall of 2020 as a Leadership Specialist for the Missouri Leadership Development System. Previously, Dr. Savidge served 34 years as a high school teacher, middle school principal, AVID district director, and Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction and Professional Development. Throughout her career, Beth has presented and facilitated at numerous professional development events on topics such as new teacher induction, cooperative learning, classroom culture and student engagement, Reader’s and Writer’s workshop, effective data teams, and instructional walk-throughs for administrators. Throughout her career, her mission has been to equip students, teachers, and principals with the necessary to skills to elevate themselves and the world around them. Beth received her undergraduate degree in Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia, her master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Webster University and her doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Missouri-Columbia. In her spare time, Beth teaches graduate level education courses and serves on the boards of nonprofit organizations that are working to improve in the lives of children in the KC metro.
