Becky Gallagher serves as a consultant for the Missouri Leadership Development System (MLDS) joining the team at the KC-RPDC in July 2021. Dr. Gallagher’s experience includes 31 years of Missouri public school service with twelve years of teaching upper elementary to middle school levels, six years as an elementary principal, and thirteen years as an assistant superintendent. Becky received her undergraduate degree in Elementary and Middle School Education and her Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Central Missouri State University (currently known as the University of Central Missouri). She completed her doctoral program in Educational Leadership in 2007 from Saint Louis University. Throughout her years in public education, Becky’s passion has been in developing, growing and supporting educational leaders. Over her career Becky has lead many professional development sessions at the national, state, and local levels covering a broad range of topics such as data-driven decision making, rigor and relevance, teacher and administrator induction, integrated use of technology, literacy, workshop model, teacher evaluation, walk-thru training, and conferring. Outside the world of education, Becky enjoys reading, crafting, spending time with family and friends and traveling with her husband Tim.
