 Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 9 am in Fine Arts Building 106

The Department of Art & Art History in UMKC’s College of Arts & Sciences is proud to host a lecture by Daniel Fuller, the Director at The Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) at Maine College of Art in Portland, Maine. Fuller has presented exhibitions and projects that have happened within the ICA and some that have worked against ICA. Fuller is most interested in utilizing the teaching gallery to embrace the intrinsic value of risk.

Fuller received his MA in Museum Studies from Syracuse University. He has written for art:21 Blog, Art in America Online, and Art on Paper, among others. He has worked at ICA since 2010, with previous curatorial experience with the Pew Center for Arts and Heritage in Philadelphia and Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art in Peekskill, NY.
