VDay 2016 – Tickets and Volunteers
Interested in helping with a great cause? The UMKC VDay 2016 benefit production of “The Vagina Monologues” is in need of volunteers: ticket takers, ushers and student group check in help. Volunteers will receive a VDay T-shirt and a ticket to see the play, which is at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 18. Volunteer sign up is required here before 12 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 5.

Following is a schedule of February events:
- A V-Day Book Display will be on view from Feb. 1-Feb. 29 in the Miller Nichols Library, 800 E. 51st St. and the UMKC Bookstore. Visitors can stop by to check out books and information about the V-Day movement to end violence against women and girls.
- A benefit performance of “The Vagina Monologues” will take place at 7:30 p.m. Thursday Feb. 18 in the Student Union Theatre, 5100 Cherry St. Doors open at 7 p.m., and free parking is available on levels 5 and 6 in the Cherry Street Garage. Tickets are $10 for students and $20 for non-students in advance or $15 for students and $25 for non-students at the door. Tickets can be purchased through the Central Ticket Office at 816-235-6222 or by visiting the Central Ticket Office website .
Tickets are still available for the benefit performance.
