climate-popupDon’t Forget to Take the Climate Survey!

The designed to gauge how all members of the community experience the current campus climate via an assessment of Learning, Living and Working at UMKC.

The goals of the survey, dubbed “Each Voice Counts,” are multifold: 1) to better understand the current campus climate for working and learning at UMKC; 2) uncover any challenges facing members of our campus community; and 3) to utilize climate survey data to make improvements that will strengthen the campus environment for all.

The survey and more information about this process the can be found at http://info.umkc.edu/climate/.

In addition, all UMKC stakeholders – students, faculty and staff – will be invited to participate in the development of the post-survey action initiatives.

At the end of the survey, participants can choose to enter their names for prize drawings; prizes include book and housing scholarships, parking passes, event tickets and Visa gift cards valued at up to $500. A complete list of prizes is available at http://info.umkc.edu/climate/prizes/.

Because the survey is confidential and hosted on an external site, it must be completed in one sitting. Anyone may fill out a paper version of the survey by contacting the Office of Services for Students with Disabilities. For students with registered disabilities, OSSD may provide additional accommodations to ensure full participation.

The survey is open until November 4, 2016.
