UM Presidential Search Town Hall Meeting – March 8

By , March 1, 2011 8:11 am

As the state’s sole land-grant, public research institution, the University of Missouri System has a unique mission to educate Missourians, conduct ground-breaking research, serve the citizens of the state and bolster the economy of Missouri to ensure its prosperity well into the future.

Our unique role in the state requires an esteemed leader. Like the 22 university presidents who have led this institution since its founding more than 170 years ago, the next president must understand and respect our historical institution and its stakeholders; seize opportunities; cultivate important relationships; and lead the university to new heights of greatness.

A Town Hall Meeting will be held at UMKC on Tuesday, March 8 11:00am-12:30pm in the Student Union Theatre. Please come join the conversation with members of the University of Missouri Presidential Search Committee, the search advisory committee, university representatives, and the search firm.
