Not able to come to the Library?  Need a resource but don’t know where to find it?  Check out these tools:

Remote Access:  You can access the University Libraries’ databases, online journals, and e-books from off campus.  Instructions for remote access or using VPN can be found here.

Library Toolbar:  access UMKC Libraries’ resources from anywhere on the Web!  This toolbar enables you to:

  • search the library catalog (MERLIN), online journals, RooSearch and WordCat
  • find library resources on selected websites with “Find it @ UMKC”
  • direct link into UMKC resources by DOI, ISSN, and ISBN numbers on selected pages
  • search Google Scholar by dragging and dropping text onto the “Scholar” button on the far right side of the toolbar

Installation of the toolbar is a breeze! Just click here and follow the instructions. For an instructional video, click here.

And don’t forget, you can always text a librarian!
