UMKC Student Health and Wellness is hosting a FREE Immunization Clinic on the Volker Campus:  Student Union Lobby from Noon to 4pm on December 5th.  This clinic is sponsored by the Kansas City Health Department, which receives a grant for FREE adult immunizations (+18).

Immunizations are not just for children.  There are many important adult vaccinations to keep you healthy and prevent the spread of disease.  One of the most important vaccinations for college students is for Meningitis.  This can be a serious bacterial or viral infection that attacks the membranes covering the brain and spinal cord.

If you are not able to attend the FREE Immunization Clinic, these free immunizations are also available at the Kansas City Health Department, 2400 Troost Avenue.
