Student Organization Spotlight: Delta Sigma Pi

Delta Sigma Pi is an International Professional Business Fraternity that strives to strengthen students development professionally, academically and socially.  UMKC’s Nu Xi Chapter holds professional events to develop our knowledge and network with local businesses, community service events with several local organizations, and social events everywhere from the Royals games to the Power and Light District. 

The qualifications for membership are:  you must have 2.5 GPA or better; be a business, accounting or economics major; and have at least 2 semesters remaining.

Movie Night

When: Friday, September 10th

Time: 6:00-9:00 pm

Where: Johnson Hall

Enjoy snacks and a movie while meeting the Nu Xi Chapter

Professional Event

When: Monday, September 13th

Time: 7:00

Dress: Professional Attire

Where: Plaza Room-Administration Center, UMKC campus

We will be hosting an alumni panel to answer questions and talk about what being a part of Delta Sigma Pi is all about

Open Office Pizza Party

When: Wednesday, September 15th

Time: 3:00-6:00 pm

Where: DSP Office Bloch Room 113

Stop in for a slice of pizza and a chance to meet UMKC’s Nu Xi Chapter
