What can student leadership do for you?

By , February 3, 2015 11:23 am

LeadershipStudent leadership certainly doesn’t end at graduation–and what you learn outside of the classroom can have far-reaching effects on your future career.

UMKC Alumni who were also student leaders will be returning to campus to talk about how their student leadership experiences have helped them advance in their careers.  We’ll have guests with backgrounds in a variety of careers from law enforcement to teaching.  Panelists will also discuss what experiences you can get now that will better prepare you for leadership after UMKC.

If you’re a current student leader, or aspiring to become one, this will be a discussion you won’t want to miss.  This is a great opportunity to learn how to maximize your student leadership position and help yourself in the process!

  • What:  Student Leadership Panel
  • When:  Wednesday, Feb. 11th from 6-7pm
  • Where:  UMKC Student Union, 401
