UMKC Henry W. Bloch School of Business and Public Administration has changed its name to the Henry W. Bloch School of Management. The new name was publically announced on Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, at a program called “Transforming Talent for Kansas City and Beyond.”

The name change coincides with a new strategic plan aimed at positioning Bloch School as a globally preeminent school of management that synthesizes private and public administration and focuses on entrepreneurial and innovative thinking. The school will continue to prepare tomorrow’s leaders in for-profit, nonprofit and public enterprises.

With five new degree programs (coming soon), the Bloch School of Management is developing purposeful, entrepreneurial and innovative leaders to meet changing global demands. The five new programs include a redesigned MBA, Master of Science in Finance, Master of Science in Global Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Master of Entrepreneurial Real Estate with an executive-level option, and an Executive Master of Public Administration.
