UMKC Alert Test Message
At 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 10, we will issue the annual test of the UMKC Alert System. An annual test of our emergency alert system is required by federal law. Below are the messages that will be sent via email, text and phone.

Email Message
Subject: UMKC Alert: This is a TEST.
UMKC Alert: This is a TEST of the UMKC Emergency Alert System. There is no actual emergency. An annual test of the system is required by federal law.
To update your emergency contact information:
Faculty and staff can proceed directly to the registration site via myHR. Use your UMKC User ID and Password to access the registration page.
Students update their information via Pathway.
Text Message
This is a TEST of the UMKC Emergency Alert System. There’s no actual emergency. Federal law requires an annual test. Your settings can be updated on the UMKC Alert page on the UMKC website.
