The 2016 African American Read-In will take place from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2016  in the iX theatre at the Miller Nichols Library.

Come listen to or share works by African American authors at this event which is free and open to the public.

UMKC University Libraries is proud to take part in the seventh consecutive offering of the African American Read-In, which was created by the Black Caucus of the National Council of Teachers of English in 1989.
