Next Steps for an English Major

By , October 21, 2013 3:30 pm

English PanelThe only drawback to being an English major is answering the somewhat impertinent question, “Yeah, but what are you going to do with your degree?”

If that is your situation, then The English Major’s Next Steps: Getting a Job, Getting into Graduate School and Getting Published is an offer you won’t want to miss.

On Saturday, October 26, the Undergraduate English Council, the English Graduate Student Association and Sigma Tau Delta will show you, in a fun and productive format, what you need to succeed. Meet and learn from professors, professionals and graduate students who have faced the same challenges – and made it!

A Meet and Greet will precede four different panel presentations, and the day will wrap up with refreshments and a reception. Come for just one panel or stay for the whole day!  Everything is at the Diastole Scholar’s Center, 2501 Holmes, Kansas City, MO, 64108.
